Joann Malone is a Supervising Certified Clinical Research Coordinator at Rocky Mountain Clinical Research, where she has been a dedicated member of the team since July 2008.

 

With an Associate Degree in Science, Joann is also a Certified Medical Assistant, holds a Phlebotomy Certificate, is certified in IV Therapy, and has received specialized DEXA training, bringing a broad and highly skilled background to every clinical trial she supports.

 

Joann thrives on the challenge of learning and executing new clinical research protocols and values the strong sense of camaraderie within the clinical research team, describing the work environment as both supportive and family-like.  She especially enjoys the personal care, education and communication that come with every patient interaction, appreciating the mutual exchange of knowledge and the feeling of being heard and valued.

 

Outside of work, Joann is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys biking, hiking, camping, skiing, and snowshoeing, just don’t ask her to garden or pull weeds!  She also loves reading and unwinding with a good TV series binge.
